Jumpstart's mission is to work toward the day every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed. To this end, we train and support caring adults to work in preschool classrooms with children from low-income backgrounds on language, literacy, social, and initiative skills for one year.
How will your involvement in Jumpstart tie into your past experiences and future goals?   (max 5000 characters)
Jumpstart's primary mission is to prepare children for kindergarten. Which aspects of the program do you anticipate being easier for you? Which aspects will be more difficult? Why? Please comment on your ability to maintain a commitment like this.   (max 5000 characters)
As a Corps member, you will be working with diverse groups of people, including fellow Corps members, families of Jumpstart children, and teachers at local preschools.
